invitation letter by china government for scientific conference

I have an invitation letter from the organisers of a scientific conference. I was told to bring another invitation letter from the government of china by Lagos embassy. The conference organisers say they don't have a letter from their local govt, what do I do please as the conference is April 10th, 2015. Morenikeji

Morenikeji, the invitation letter is usually provided by municipal or provincial foreign affairs offices. You may ask the conference organizer to try to get the letters from municipal foreign affairs office. But it takes time to acquire this invitation.
