About:How to Apply for a China Visa

My son lives in Beijing. I would like to visit, what visa do I require?

He has resident status and has lived in Beijing for 6 years and his father was born in Putong.

Carol, it depends on how long you will stay in China. If it's just a short visit, a tourist L type is enough for your visit purpose. If you want to stay for quite a long time, you should apply for an S type.
