About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

If I am doing a weekend trip (Country A - 72hr stay in Shanghai - Country A return), am I eligible?

TJ, to use the free transit policy, you must fly from Country A to Country B via Mainland China, so your route is not eligible for the policy.
