This year i am planning to do bachelors. And on other hand i also want to do job to support my studies. So i would like to ask am i allowed to do job in X type?or its is an illegal action?Secondly i am going china with 1year type and this 1year i will be studying chinese language after completion of 1year i want to renew it for 4years and do bachelors. So is it allowed to do so? Can you tell me more about renwal process?

Yes, it's illegal to do jobs with X type. However, you may take some part-time jobs to support yourself. This is ok. First, you need to ask permit from your university. If your are permitted, then you should go to local entry and exit management bureau to endorse your X type (resident permit). Then you can legally do part-time jobs. It's possible to renew your X type from local entry and exit management bureau. You should bring your passport, valid resident permit for X type, temporary accommodation registration form, new application form, passport photos and proof that you need to extend your stay (it can be a letter from your school with stamp claiming that you need to extend your study etc) to the bureau at least seven days before your X type expires. The requirements might differ and I suggest you go to local entry and exit management bureau for consultation first.
