About:Mount Huashan

Hiking at Mt Hua

Plan on visiting Mt Hua and had a few questions:
1) What time does park Ticket office open?
2) Can you buy the tickets anywhere else (online/ hotels/ kiosks) to avoid the long lines at park?
3) If you take Cable car up West Peak: how long does it take to hike to Chess Play Pavilion on East Peak? Km?
4) From Chest Play Pavilion how long does it take to hike to North Peak? How many Km?

1. They start to sell ticket at 07:00.
2. Some hotels help their guests to buy the ticket of the mountain. If you have booked one, ask your hotel first. Also its official website has online ticketing service, but only Chinese version is available at present.
3. It takes 60-70min from the upper cable car station to the Chess Play Pavilion.
4. From the pavilion to North Peak, the duration is 1-1.5h according to the walking pace.
