how to change terminals from 2 to 3 in beijing?

I fly from Detroit to Beijing by Delta and then to Xi'an by Air China. Do I need to go from T2 to T3? If I do, what is the procedure in both Terminals, and how much time do I need to connect from international to domestic flight?
