How old can you be to obtain a Z visa?

I am 18 and currently a U.S. citizen with job interests in China.

Claire, to apply for the work permit required during the application for the Z type, applicants should be elder than 18. However, many cities require that the applicants should hold bachelor degree and have more than two years of work experience.
