Trade visit to China and visit to HK

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have tried accessing the Canton Fair website to get an invitation, but it has locked me out. I have since received an invitation form a prospective supplier, to attend the Canton fair. I wish to travel with my Partner on the 25th April to Guangzhou, stay for 3 days at the fair phase 2 and then go to HK for 3 days and return to Guangzhou for the first 3 days of phase 3.
Kindly let me know if this invitation is enough to go to China for the fair as well as to re-enter after 3 days in HK?

Hi Alaster! I personally think this invitation letter will suffice for your application. You can apply for a double-entry M type by providng the letter and round-trip tickets.

Hi Susie, So I just have to purchase my tickets and take my itenerary and apply? Do Take my tickets and go to the consulate and get my entry permit?

Yes, I think you should bring your air tickets. Don't be upset if you are just granted with a single entry M type. Because in HK, you may find an agenty to help you acquire the L type for Guangzhou trip again even though it requires that applicants are required to provide their HK resident status in HK.
