About:China Visa

Am i eligible for 72-hour Free Transit?

Hi im student in Taiwan and have an Alien Residents Card (ARC). Im holding Indonesian passport and I have a plan to travel to Osaka from Taipei. My ticket is not directly to Osaka, i have to transit in Shanghai for 15 hours. This is my ticket "taipei-shanghai(transit)-osaka"..I wanna ask,am i eligible for 72 hr free transit? Can i go out from airport to sightseeing shanghai? **i have tciket transit to osaka and have Japan's Visa. Thanks before.

I mean, direct transit 24hours..my ticket march 31th 15.00-17.00 taipei-shanghai (transit/15hours)...april 1st 08.00- shanghai-osaka..can i go to outside airport for sightseeing shanghai? *nano

Yes, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transfer policy. If you want to leave the airport and have some sightseeing activities, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
