how long it takes to get from shanghai railway station to pudong international airport by taxi?

is it advisable to take a taxi from pudong international airport to holiday inn downtown other transport?
how far is nanjing road from holiday inn downtown?

If by taxi, it takes around 50 mins on the way.

From the airport to your hotel, if by taxi, it costs CNY 170 to 180. A little expensive.
Or you can take airport shuttle bus line 7 to South Railway Station. Then take subway line 3 to SH Railway Station, Exit 3. Then walk around 0.6 miles to southwest and get to your hotel.

The distance from Nanjing Road to your hotel is about 2.1 miles.
