dependent visa extension

Question

Hi, I got my parents to China and missed family certificate document with attestation by Chinese embassy in india. i am planning to send the document to india to get attested in passport clearly mentioned need to apply dependent type within 30 days of arrival/entry to china, by the time its already 12 days over for me,if i didn't receive the document in time  for my parents what is the solution, is there any grace period to apply after 30 days from arrival, please help me to overcome this matter.I cheked with India Chiense emabassy and they said it will take minimum 10 working days to complete this process

Suresh, if you cannot get the residence permits for your parents within 30 days, they will overstay in China. Besides, even though they leave China during the 30 days, their S type will expire and they have to apply for a new one. I suggest you contact the Indian embassy in China and ask whether they can issue you a relationship certificate. If they can do so, it would be perfect. You can use the certificate to get your parents' residence permits.
