About:Visa Policy of China

i have italian passport, looking to go to Guangzhou from HK for a daily visit - is that possible ?

i was told i can get daily visa on arrival

Guido, you can get the VOA in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Xiamen cities of Guangdong Province, but not in Guangzhou. With the VOA, you can stay only in the city via which you enter. So if you want to go to Gangzhou, you should apply for a tourist entry permit beforehand.
