About:Prohibited Items

Might this make it hard to get a visa in the future to enter China?

I did a photo shoot for a book cover and forgot to remove the novelty handcuffs from my camera bag. They noticed and I had to explain to security the details. I was allowed to proceed but they threw the cuffs away.

Tom, you really worry too much. This won't cause a problem for your future entries to mainland China. Next time you enter or exit, please make sure that there isn't anything special on you.
