how long is it by taxi from Guangzhou to Hong Kong airport?

also how much does it cost?

The distance is about 113 mi (182 kilometers). Seldom GZ taxi goes to HK, and it is hard for it to go across the border. Anyway, the taxi fare would be no less than CNY1400 if you can get one. Or you can rent a limo to reach, it would cost around CNY2200. Actually, I would recommend you to take direct cross border coach from Guangzhou downtown, such as Dong Shan Hotel, GZ Haitao Hotel, or Garden Hotel. It would be the best choice for you.

Thank you Ellen for your reply. I am actually wondering about the other way around.. I will arrive at Hong Kong Airport but not sure how I can find the services to reach garden hotel in GZ. especially because I've been reading that its hard for a taxi to cross the border.
I'm sure the hotel can help on the way back.

Well, I see. Congratulates! Direct cross-border coaches to Garden Hotel can easily be taken at HKIA and the boarding site is at the Coach Station in T2. Just go and see!
