About:Passport

My passport will expire Dec 2015. Can I renew it now? I will be leaving April 27, will it be ok?

If I renew it now, althought the expiry is Dec 2015. How about the new duration? is it from Dec 2015 or now upon renewal?

Rodante, normally speaking, you can renew your passport within the six months before it expires, so I doubt whether you can renew it now. The duration of the new passport starts from the date of issance. Once it is issued, your old passport becomes invalid.
