About:China Visa on Arrival

any possibility to get VOA when arriving in Beijing?

my friend had an accident and is not able to sit long time for a flight from Malaysia to China. but the embassy asks for booking confirmation of the flight - but we can not book a flight until she's better and this is why we can not apply for in advance.

Nicola, there is very little chance that you can get the VOA at Beijing. You can wait for some time and start the application process after your friend gets better. The process normally takes only four working days, so I think it would be OK for you to apply by then.

do you maybe know if there's a possibility to get an express visa at the embassy in phnom penh? can't get the right person on the phone (obviously) and no answer via mail :(
