Macau to hong kong by ferry at late night

Hi!we'll be going to HK from macau through ferry at around 9a.m, is it ok to ride a ferry at late night?is it scary?are there bug waves?please suggest the best time to go back or should we go overnight in macau?

Do you refer to 9:00pm? It’s ok to do so. Don’t worry so much. Ferries between Maritime Ferry Terminal and HK-Macao Ferry Terminal are in service for 24h.
