Are tours wheelchair accessible in China?

We are planning a family pilgrimage and my 84 year old father is not as mobile anymore and we plan to bring a wheelchair when a lot of walking is required. He can walk short distances and go up and down steps as long as not too many and not too often.

Yes, it is accessible. In many attractions and public areas, there are special routes or roads for the wheelchairs. For m ountains and hills sightseeing, the cable cars are for your convenience. If you wanna join a tour through certain travel agency, they will take care of you better and you should tell them about your father's case in advance.
