About:History of Silk Road

what is the name of the track before called silk road?

The road names exist in the 18th century by Fredericht.

Before it was called this name, the section in the east direction of Yangguan is called Yangguan Road. And the section in the west direction of Yangguan, we just call it Yangguanwai (Yangguan Outer).
