transfer from hotel grand mercure central to railway statio south

I want to go by fast train from Beijing to Shanghai. I think the train leaves at south station of that city.
what is the easiest way to get to this train station from grand mercure hotel central(Nr.6 xuanwumen nei avenue,xicheng district) and what is the price?
Is it difficult to find the right train?
How long before train departure must I be at the station?

Yes, the high-speed train from leaves at the south railway station.
From your hotel, take subway line 4 at Xidan Station, and get off at the South Railway Station directly. The ticket fare is CNY 3 per adult.
It's easy for you to find the right train. There are lots of English signs that can help you a lot. So don't worry.
Generally speaking, it's suggested to arrive at the train station 1 to 1.5 hours in advance.
