my wife is a chinese and my son is malaysian, can my son renew his passport at china?

Frankie, I think you can renew your son's passport at the Malaysian embaasy or consulate in China. However, you had better confirm this with the embassy by dialing (008610) 6532 2531 / 32 / 33.
