About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

What type of visa do I need for a 6 months musicians gig in China, as a EU resident?

I have been contacted last minute to join a band and it might be the case that I will need to apply on my own. How do I do that and where do I apply ?

Thanks

Exedra, you need to apply for a Z type from Chinese embassy or CVASC centers in your country. The required documents are your passport, application form, passport photo and invitation letter issued by duly authorized Chinese unit or approval letter from local cultural administration bureau.

If you apply for the Z type successfully, you need to change your Z type into temporary resident permit within 30 days after you arrive.
