About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

USA Musicians playing in Hong Kong

We have Z type for playing concerts in PRC (Shanghai/Guangzhou), but then traveling to Hong Kong from Mainland China to play before returning to US. Visa needed?

Yes, you should apply for a work type entry permit.
