how to getting a visa without a round trip ticket to and from USA to china

My friend and I are travelling throughout Asia. We will be done into mainland PRC from one country and them leaving for another country. They only roundtrip ticket is to and from the Philippines. Only staying in China for 7 days. We have purchased tickets to and from mainland, just not roundtrip to the same country. Will that work?

As long as you can provide the tickets to and from mainland China, they will work for the applicaton.

that's policy of many countries ( you must have to show return ticket ) then they will work on visa
