About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

US citizens requesting Chinese visa

Are we able to obtain a walk-in type to China at the consulate in Auckland or must we visit the embassy in Wellington? Must we set up an appointment or can we just walk in during open hours? Thanks.

Jane, if you are living in the consular district of the consulate in Acukland, you should submit the application to the consulate. No appointment is required.

Sorry, I should have clarified more. We are US TOURISTS who will be traveling through NZ and need a Chinese type for one of our next stops. Can we still go to the Auckland consulate? Thanks :)
