If you buy at station directly, you can do it on the same day for your trip. From Shenzhen East to your hotel, you can take the Longgang line and get off at Shai Bu (A2 Exit). If you go from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, you can take the subway( East Rail Line) form Luohu station, or you can take bus as well. Thank you.
