i just want to ask, if it is okay to cross border from hongkong to mainland china?

Hello, thanks for the reply Colin. it's me again. And from mainland, i will process my working visa for just 7 days? Would that be possible? My friend told me that hongkong dont need one for us.

Ariannie, your friend is right, you don't need entry permit for Hong Kong, so it's OK for you to enter mainland through HK. However, if you enter China with an L type, it's very hard to change it to a work Z type, even impossible for doing so.
