travel from guangzhou baiyun international airport to guilin by train.

Question

Hello. I wonder If I need make a previous reservation to travel from the South Railway Station to Guilin by bullet/fast train? I will arrive to the International Airport at 21.03. I know that I can reach GSRS by metro directly from terminal. The question is if I'm able to get the ticket for train after arriving at the station (for the same day), or this is more complicated ?:]  Is there any information point operated in english at the train station? The last bullet train leaves GSRS for Guilin at 20:00. I'm afraid you need to stay overnight in GZ. If you are not going to travel during peak season like Chinese New Year, it's OK to buy a ticket on spot. But the departure time may not be what you like and you may need to wait respectively longer for the departure. There are English direction boards at the railway station. No  worry.
