Travel from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Guilin by train.

Hello. I wonder If I need make a previous reservation to travel from the South Railway Station to Guilin by bullet/fast train? I will arrive to the International Airport at 21.03. I know that I can reach GSRS by metro directly from terminal. The question is if I'm able to get the ticket for train after arriving at the station (for the same day), or this is more complicated ?:] Is there any information point operated in english at the train station?
