About:China Transit Visa

Can I apply for a chinese visa from Canada given that I am a british passport holder?

I return back to the U.K. from canada on the 20th April and on the 25th April I must be in China for a meeting. I would like to know how I can apply with my british passport whilst I am here in Canada.

Yes, you can apply for it at the CVASC center in Canada. First of all, prepare necessary documents for the application, namely, a valid passport, a photocopy of the passport's data page, an application form attached with your passport size color photo, the original and photocopy of your Canadian entry permit, and an invitation letter from the relevant entity in China. Then go to the office and submit the materials.
