Applying S2 visa for my Mother

Hi I am on working permit in China and its due to expire in July 2015. I am planning to get my mother to China in May on S2 type to help with my Wife's delivery. I have my job contract for next 3 years and my company is ready to provide me a letter that they would apply for the renewal of my work permit in July. But I am worried if my mom would still get a S2 type as my residence permit expires in July. Please suggest. Thank you!
