CROATIAN PASSPORT for TRANSIT through Xi'an & Shanghai/Peking

Hallo, I attend to fly in from Japan to Xi'an for transit to same day flight to Shangai and again transit to final destination Rome. I am Croatian citizen with Japan permanent residence card, do I need to do any paperwork for 2 transits through Xi'an and Shangai (depends on air company and ticket if it is Shanghai or Peking) ?

Hi Strkalj, as you will transit in two cities, you can only enjoy the 24 hour direct transit policy. If your total layover time does not exceed 24 hours, you don't need to apply for the entry permit. BTW, in many cases, the 24 hours start from the following midnight after your arrival.
