To take the ferry to Shekou, you don't need to go through the immigration nor collect your luggage on your own. After landing, just walk to Arrival Level, T1 and buy the ferry ticket at the Ferry Ticket Counter at Transit Area E2, where you can present your luggage tag receipt and the staff will help you haddle the luggage. After that, head for the Skypier by free shuttle bus to check the status of your luggage and scan the ticket to get on the ferry.
