About:China Visa

Arriving by cruise ship in Shanghai...and flying out 3 days later....

are cruise passengers eligible for the 72 hour visa??? And can I apply at China embassy in Barcelona?? which is one of the ships stops before China.

Hi Beryel! As the 72 hour free transit policy is currently only available on airports, the cruise passengers are not eligible for it. You cannot apply at Barcelona, because in Spain the application is only accepted by the CVASC in Madrid. I suggest you apply for a transit G type before your trip.
