About:Marriage Registration in China

Do I still need to get my Single Status translated and notarized by local notary office in China?

I have notarized and authenticated my single status record at both the ministry of foreign affairs and the China Embassy in my own country. Do I still need to get it translated and notarized by local notary office in China? The whole document is already in English.

Jiamie, after you come to China, you should get the single status certificated translated by a qualified translation company and ask the company to stamp their common seal on the paper. Then you should notarize the file at local notary office again.
