About:Chinese Zodiac Compatibility

what happens if your birthday is near the chinese new year?

hi, I am born 4/1/63 which makes me tiger. the next year is rabbit and wondering if this means I have some rabbit characteristic/ compatibility

If you were born before feb 20th you are in the year before (such as 2002, year of the the horse but my friend was born in Jan so he's the year of the snake, like me)
