could i get single certificate notarized in china?

Question

My fiancé in Canada trying to get the single certificate done there. Could he go to a lower the get one done then get it notarized it when he come to china? Or does he need to get the authentication done before he comes?thank you

Tina, the usual process is as follows: 1. get your single certificate notarized by local notary office and then by your Ministry of Foreign Affairs2. go to Chinese embassy and get it authenticated by Chinese embassy3. get it translated and notarized by local notary office in ChinaFinally,you can use it to apply for the marriage certificate.
