Just don't be too casual and no slipper and singlet is acceptable in the places of worship.

My suggestion is that don't talk about the politics and the sensitive issues of the country with the local people.

The amount of tip depends on you. CNY10-20 can be acceptable. If you are very satisfied with some service, you can even tip CNY50-100.
