About:Dianchi Lake

If my HKSAR passport expires in July 2015, will I have enough time to get my new passport?

if I put in my applications in the next 2 weeks at the Consular Office in nyc?

Hi Nicole! The renewal for HKSAR passport often takes four to eight weeks, so I think there is enough time to get it. If you want to expedite the process, I suggest you choose a reliable express company and send the application documents to the HK Immigration Department directly. You know, the embassy will simpy transfer the documents to that department too.

Thanks for the response. However, if I do send the application via express company, I would have to collect the passport in person, correctly?
