Tai'an and Taishan

Hi,
I'm hoping you can clarify for me. I want to travel from shanghai to see Mount Taishan by train. Is the TA train station the closest one to Mount Taishan? Do I have to take a bus after, to get there? And which busses do I need to take?

No, TA is not the nearest one, but it is the best choice. You can take a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to reach in 3-4h. Then take a taxi to reach the scenic area at the cost of CNY30.
