Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou on 1st Oct - Can I purchase bus tickets on the same day?

Hi, I am going to Chengdu this year end. will be arriving Chengdu at night 30th Sept. I am thinking of going to JZG on 1st Oct if that's possible. I heard that first week of Oct is very very crowded as it is the chinese national holiday in China. I need an advice, whether I would be able to get bus tickets for 5 adults on 1st Oct morning when I go to the bus station? Hope to get an answer so that I can plan my trip and especially hotel reservations. thanks in advanced

You are right that it will be very busy during the national holiday, and there is possibility that you won’t get a ticket on the spot. Then I would suggest you book the tickets at least 2-3 days in advance. Although its official website has no English version, here is the hotline for your reference: 4006608787 (09:00 – 17:30). Try to dial and ask about the reservation matter.
