work in mianyang

Question

Hi, I have an opportunity to work in MY for one year. It is quite long and I wonder if this location is a nice place to live in? Has the city a lot to offer when it comes to entertainment? I am off in the weekends and I'd like to know if there are many bars or nightclubs where young people would go to (I am 23 years old by the way)?I've read that MY also has an airport? Would it be possible to book a flight from for example London to MY or is it only possible to fly to Chengdu and take a domestic flight or bus to MY?

Don't worry. This city is a good place to live in. You can find many entertainment activities in your spare time. Huaxing Road Area is a gathering place of bars and nightclubs. This area wins popularity among local young people. You can make many friends there. You can also travel to its nearby cities like Chengdu, Leshan, and Emeishan on weekends. One thing to be noted is that the city has few foreign dwellers. Yes, this city has a airport. But  there is no direct flight from your country. You need to transfer at Beijing or Shanghai. Chengdu also has no flight from London currently.
