Awanthi, based on your situation, I think you should apply for an S1 type. After you arrive at China, you should go to the local exit and entry administration within 30 days to apply for a residence permit, with which you can enter and leave China freely.

1. Required documents for applying the S1 type: (1) Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages, and a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate; (2) Application Form and Photo; (3) An invitation letter from your husband; (4) A photocopy of the your husband's passport and residence permit; (5) Original and photocopy of your marriage certificate.

2. The normal processing takes about four working days. If you want it to be faster, you may try to expedite the procedure by using rush services with additional fees.

For details about the fees, please contact the embassy.
