David, no additional visa is required for travel in Tibet, but you need to apply for an Tibet Tourism Bureau Permit in advance through authorized travel agencies. However, I heard that from February 15, 2015, foreigners are not allowed to enter Tibet, so I'm afraid you can't got there.0
