About:Chinese Embassy in Qatar

How and where can I get an Invitation Letter if I will just apply for Tourist Visa (L)?

I don't have any relatives in China.

Amir, you can try to find an agency in China to offer you the invitation letter. Of course, the service will be charged. If you cannot provide the invitation letter, you can book hotels and round-trip tickets in advance and include the booking records into the application documents to replace the letter.

Thank you Locker for the answer, much appreciated. But then, i have already presented a Hotel confirmation and a round trip ticket to the embassy including all the requirements, it's so ironic that they are still looking for an invitation letter considering that i am just applying for L type.
