Train travel and 72 hour transit visa

I am planning on taking a train from Hanoi - Nanning - Guangzhou- Hong Kong on a 72hr transit with my Korean Passport. I haven't seen any information if we can use the transit type with the train.

Jiyun, sorry to tell that you can not avail yourself of the 72 hour free transit policy if you enter and exit from mainland China by train. I suggest you apply for a G type in advance.
