About:China Consulate in Houston

Authentication by mail possible?

I live in Florida, and have been to China 2 times on a Z visa.

I got my no crime report completed by my local police station (stamped, signed, and notarized), sent it to the Department of State for authentication by the Secretary of State, and now need to send it to the Chinese embassy in Houston for authentication.

Does the embassy/consulate accept mail applications, and mail back the processed materials? I don't have time, money, or contacts to make a pick-up.
Are there any options for mailing the authenticated forms back to me? Are there any companies that do this kind of service in Houston for people in my situation?
Thank you.

Trevor, the consulate does not accept postal authentication applications. There must be some agencies which can offer pick-up service for people in your situation. You can find one to help you with the matter.
