About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is 72 hr Visa available: Macau - Shanghai - Hong Kong?

Can I use the 72 hour transit visa to fly with China Eastern Airlines: Macau - Shanghai (56 hours in Shanghai) then Shanghai - Hong Kong?

Yes, Michael, you can possibly make use of the 72 hour free transit policy. However, there is a risk that you might be rejected for entering. So I think you'd better apply for a L type to visit Shanghai. It's safer.
