About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

In Beiing, China for less than 12 hours. Do I need a Visa for China?

Leaving from Tokyo via a cruise, ending in Beiing (cruise) and flying directly home. We will be in China less than 12 hours. Thank you for your help, Brinda Winger

Brinda, you don't need it, as you can make use of the 24 hour free transit policy.
