About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Chinese citizen, canadian permanent resident

Hi, I'm a permanent resident of Canada and I'm a chinese citizen. I'm planning to travel to Shanghai then to Hong Kong for 3 days then to the Philippines. It says as a chinese citizen if I'm visiting a third country then I'm allowed 7 days in HK visa free. But will I be able to fly back to HK to take the MRT to go to Shenzhen without an entry permit? Thanks so much.

Yes, you needn't apply anyone if you just transit in HK. However, you'd better apply for an entry permit from Chinese embassy in Canada so that you won't have any problem if you go from HK to Shenzhen. You need to submit your passport, filled application form and two passport photos. If you have any sponsor in HK, you'd better provide detailed information about your sponsor.
