About:Chinese Consulate in Zurich

BNO passport renewal

Hello, I live in Switzerland and I have a BNO Passport (British National Overseas Passport) due to my Hong Kong ID Card.
Can you please guide me where shall I renew such passport? British Embassy or Chinese Embassy?

Hi, Shumaila! As you know, China does not acknowledge dual-citizenship. Since your passport was issued by Britain, you can renew it only in the British embassy.
